Responsibilities
  • Plan, model, simulate, design, install, maintain, and manage enterprise network systems.
  • Provide technical and strategic guidance for modernization and optimization of complex network environments.
  • Perform network administration tasks, including configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network software applications and hardware components.
  • Utilize advanced software and hardware tools to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex network issues.
  • Ensure network security, compliance, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions to technical challenges.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Equivalent technical training certificate from an accredited institution will be considered.
Experience
  • Network Engineer I: Minimum of 3 years of progressively complex experience in network engineering and administration.
  • Network Engineer II: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing or leading large-scale network engineering and IT modernization efforts, including at least 2 years of specialized experience related to network design, planning, or optimization.
Certifications
  • Required:
    • Network Engineer I: CompTIA Network+
    • Network Engineer II: CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+
Clearance
  • Active Secret clearance required.
