Overview
Seeking a well-rounded Network Engineer with strong Cisco networking expertise and a broad infrastructure background. Ideal candidates will have MSP experience, hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies, and exposure to network automation or scripting.
Required Skills
  • 4+ years of Cisco network engineering experience
  • Experience with Cisco Switches, Cisco Routers, Cisco Firewalls, Meraki
  • Experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Subnetting, DNS, DHCP
  • Experience with Routing & Switching, LAN/WAN, VPNs, Wireless Networking
  • Knowledge of Network Security, IDS/IPS, Firewall Administration
  • Experience with Network Monitoring Tools such as LogicMonitor and N-able
  • Experience with Infrastructure Design, implementation, and support
  • Familiarity with Ticketing Systems (ConnectWise preferred)
  • Ability to troubleshoot network, connectivity, and infrastructure issues
Preferred Skills
  • MSP (Managed Service Provider) experience
  • CCNA or CCNP
  • CMNA certification
  • Python and/or PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with Network Automation
  • Capacity planning and performance optimization experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network infrastructure issues
  • Deploy, configure, and support Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, and FortiGate environments
  • Monitor network health and proactively address performance concerns
  • Design, implement, and document network solutions
  • Perform network upgrades, changes, testing, and validation
  • Maintain compliance with security standards and best practices
  • Support LAN/WAN, firewall, VPN, and wireless environments
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Participate in an on-call rotation
  • Travel occasionally as needed
Education
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
