About the role
Join the Infrastructure and Operations Team, in the Network Administrator position. In this role you will be responsible for supporting and improving enterprise network, voice, and connectivity services across on‑premises and hybrid environments. You’ll help keep critical platforms secure, reliable, and high‑performing, while contributing to modernization and automation initiatives.

What you will do:

  • Provide day‑to‑day operational support for enterprise network and voice/video services, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, SD‑WAN, MPLS, and collaboration platforms.
  • Monitor network performance and availability, responding to incidents, performing troubleshooting, and taking corrective action to minimize service impact.
  • Investigate and resolve complex network issues, escalate high‑risk or cross‑platform problems to senior specialists or infrastructure leads as required.
  • Support network lifecycle and modernization initiatives, including platform upgrades, workload migrations, and data‑center or hybrid cloud connectivity projects.
  • Maintain network security controls in alignment with enterprise cybersecurity standards, including vulnerability remediation, patching, and secure configuration practices.
  • Contribute to disaster recovery and service resiliency by supporting recovery planning, testing, and validation of network services.
  • Support the evolution of the enterprise security posture by implementing and maintaining Zero Trust architecture principles, including identity-based access controls and secure edge access.
  • Maintain documentation, automation, and operational procedures as well as collaborating with infrastructure and application teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

 

What you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.  An equivalent combination of education and/or experience can be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure or systems administration roles.
  • Practical experience supporting multiple infrastructure domains, such as networking, virtualization, storage and backup, disaster recovery, and databases.
  • Experience supporting on‑premises and hybrid cloud environments, with an understanding of modern infrastructure operations.
  • Working knowledge of ITSM processes (incident, problem, and change management) and operational support models.
  • Strong troubleshooting, automation, and communication skills, including scripting (e.g., Ansible) and the ability to clearly explain technical issues to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Technologies:

  • Network Technologies – LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, SD‑WAN, MPLS, and voice/video collaboration platforms.
  • Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure – Microsoft Azure and on‑premises to cloud integration.
  • Automation & Monitoring – Ansible scripting and infrastructure monitoring/operational tools.
  • Network Security & Zero Trust – Implementation of STNA, SASE, Identity-aware Proxies and advance firewall policies enforcing continuous authentication.

It would be great if you also had:

  • Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments across one or more domains (networking, virtualization, storage, backup, or databases), with awareness of enterprise architecture and standardization practices.
  • Exposure to regulated or security‑sensitive environments, including participation in audit, compliance, or security remediation activities, along with familiarity with IT service management concepts.
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud concepts and progression toward relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Azure, networking), with ITIL Foundation considered an asset.
