Network & Systems Administrator (Growth Track)

Full-Time | Hybrid (Initial Onsite – MN) | $85,000 

Why This Role Exists

We're strengthening our internal IT function to support a growing, multi-location organization. This role is a key hire who will own network and systems performance, solve complex issues, and help build a more scalable IT foundation.

This is a strong fit for someone who's been wearing multiple hats in a smaller environment and is ready to take on more ownership and influence.

What You'll Be Doing

Technical Ownership

  • Act as escalation point for network and systems issues (Tier 2/3)

  • Troubleshoot connectivity, outages, and performance across ~40 locations

  • Support and standardize network infrastructure (FortiGate, UniFi)

Build & Improve

  • Identify recurring issues and implement long-term fixes

  • Support Azure-based infrastructure and identity environment (Entra ID)

  • Contribute to infrastructure improvements and documentation

  • Help establish processes that scale as the team grows

What Success Looks Like

  • 0–60 Days: Ramp quickly and begin resolving escalations independently

  • By 90 Days: Own the majority of complex issues and identify improvement opportunities

  • Ongoing: Play a key role in shaping how IT operates as the organization grows

Growth Opportunity

This role is designed to evolve into a lead/ownership position as the team expands. You'll help shape future support structure and influence how IT scales across the organization.

What We Need (Non-Negotiables)

  • Hands-on experience with network infrastructure (firewalls, switching, VPNs)

    • FortiGate and/or UniFi preferred

  • Working knowledge of:

    • Azure + Entra ID

    • Hybrid environments (cloud + some on-prem)

  • Background in a lean IT environment (not highly siloed)

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting multi-location environments

  • Exposure to migrations (on-prem → cloud)

  • Basic scripting or automation experience

Work Setup

  • Local to Eden Prairie, Minnesota required

  • Onsite for first ~90 days for training, then hybrid (2–3 days onsite)
