About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Network Installer to support and maintain critical network infrastructure across multiple sites throughout the Indianapolis region. This is a field-based position requiring travel to various locations, where you will be responsible for network installations, upgrades, migrations, troubleshooting, and infrastructure modernization projects.

The selected candidate will be assigned a regional home base and travel as needed to support network operations, cutovers, and technology refresh initiatives. Travel expenses are reimbursed, and assignments are expected to be long-term.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and support enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Perform network cutovers, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues across complex network environments.
  • Support SD-WAN deployments and network modernization initiatives.
  • Conduct testing and validation using network diagnostic tools, including OTDR.
  • Configure and maintain routing, switching, VPNs, and IP-based networking solutions.
  • Monitor network performance and availability using tools such as SolarWinds and Nagios.
  • Support TDM-to-IP migration projects and other infrastructure transformation efforts.
  • Document installation activities, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
Required Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience with:
    • Network installations and upgrades
    • Network cutovers and migrations
    • SD-WAN technologies
    • Layer 1 through Layer 3 networking
    • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
  • Experience working with Cisco and/or Juniper networking equipment.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds and Nagios.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Indianapolis region and support multiple locations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting large-scale network modernization efforts.
  • Knowledge of network security, compliance, and operational best practices.
  • Experience working within highly regulated or mission-critical environments.
  • Relevant certifications such as:

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
