Graham is actively recruiting a Senior Project Manager to support the Infrastructure Division. Reporting to the Project Director, this role is suited for an experienced construction professional with a proven track record delivering complex infrastructure projects within the Greater Toronto Area. With a strong client focus, the Senior Project Manager is a collaborative teamโ€‘builder who cultivates strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and brings the technical expertise, leadership, and communication skills required to successfully deliver projects across heavy rail, light rail, bridges, and heavy civil work.  

 

Your Role in Building What Matters โ€“ From Office to Site 

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met without compromise
  • Oversee all project controls, including budgeting, cost reporting, forecasting, scheduling, change management, and use of Grahamโ€™s project management systems
  • Manage subcontractor selection, negotiations, and performance while administering contracts, change orders, and dispute resolution in collaboration with senior leadership
  • Provide strong leadership to project teams by coaching, mentoring, and developing staff, fostering a positive safety culture, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, while advising senior management on execution risks, claims, and project performance

 

The Right Tools for the Job 

  • Education: Technical trade certificate required; Technical Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 15+ years of direct construction project management experience, primarily within transit/rail or largeโ€‘scale infrastructure projects, with a proven record of delivering complex work.
  • Skills: Extensive knowledge of construction methods and project management processes; ability to mentor and develop teams while managing risk, cost, schedule, quality, and stakeholder relationships

Compensation

  • Salary Range $155,000 to $185,000 per annum
  • Compensation aligned to education and experience, ensuring fair and competitive placement
  • Three to five weeks of vacation, with additional credit for prior industry experience
