You will work closely with architecture, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable, high-performance, and automated network platforms.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design and migrate traditional networks to spine-leaf architectures using Aruba-based infrastructure
  • Support overlay gateway termination on both virtualized firewalls and physical ToR devices
  • Build standardized network models for use across multiple lab environments
  • Perform LAN/WAN topology design, validation, and performance optimization

Routing, Switching & Segmentation
  • Configure and troubleshoot enterprise routing and switching (Aruba, Cisco, HPE)
  • Implement VLAN design, segmentation strategies, and traffic optimization
  • Conduct site readiness assessments and network capacity planning

Monitoring & Observability
  • Design and implement a comprehensive monitoring framework using OpsRamp
  • Integrate dashboards, alerting, and log analysis (OpsRamp, ELK or equivalent)
  • Ensure proactive detection of performance and availability issues

IPAM & Network Data Modernization
  • Partner with external vendors to implement new IP Address Management (IPAM) systems
  • Audit and reconcile VLANs, IP ranges, VTEPs, and historical ownership data
  • Cross-reference network data with ticketing and operational systems

Linux Automation & Tooling
  • Deploy and manage Linux-based infrastructure platforms across labs
  • Develop custom scripts and automation to streamline network operations

Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with routing and switching (Aruba, Cisco, HPE)
  • Deep understanding of spine-leaf network architectures
  • VLAN segmentation, LAN/WAN design, and enterprise troubleshooting expertise
  • Experience with network monitoring platforms (OpsRamp preferred; ELK a plus)
  • IPAM system implementation or migration experience
  • Linux system administration and automation experience (Python, Bash preferred)

Nice to Have
  • Experience with overlay networks and virtual firewalls
  • Data center lab or R&D infrastructure environment experience
  • Infrastructure automation frameworks (Ansible, scripts, APIs)

Flexible work from home options available.
