Description

M2 Solutions is seeking senior Network Engineers to design, deploy, and maintain secure network infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. This role focuses on building hardened network architectures in commercial cloud platforms and supporting mission-critical connectivity in secure environments.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy virtual networks and subnets in commercial cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Configure Linux virtual machines as network appliances (e.g., routing, firewall, and traffic control functions)
  • Harden Linux operating systems and network devices to meet cybersecurity and compliance requirements
  • Configure and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, intrusion prevention systems, and VPN solutions
  • Support and troubleshoot commercial messaging applications and Android tablet devices
  • Provide after-hours and on-call support to resolve network outages and performance issues
Required Qualifications
  • Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph
  • Minimum 16 years of professional experience in network engineering
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline preferred
  • Hands-on experience:
    • Building and securing cloud-based VPC/VNet environments
    • Configuring and hardening Linux in both virtual and physical deployments
    • Managing enterprise network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, switches, and IPS platforms
    • Deploying and supporting commercial VPN solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot complex network issues in production environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience deploying and supporting Commercial National Security Algorithm (CNSA) / CNGA compliant network infrastructure
  • Familiarity with customer-specific core appliances, services, and network architectures
  • Experience operating within highly secure or mission-focused government environments
