Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience working with Cisco networking technologies.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI in production environments.
  • Deep expertise in ACI constructs including VRF, Bridge Domains, EPG, ESG, L3Out, and Contracts.
  • Experience integrating Cisco ACI with OpenShift VMM and Cilium/Isovalent platforms.
  • Strong experience with Cisco Catalyst platforms and Software Defined Access (SDA).
  • Experience administering Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), TACACS+, authentication, authorization, and policy-based NAC.
  • Strong understanding of ThousandEyes, Cisco Cyber Vision, and Cisco DNA Spaces.
  • Expertise in TCP/IP, routing, switching, QoS, and enterprise network security.
  • Experience designing and implementing Palo Alto Networks security solutions.
  • Ability to create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.

Experience:

  • Extensive experience in enterprise data center networking and infrastructure engineering.
  • Proven experience supporting mission-critical network environments.
  • Experience with software-defined networking, network segmentation, and Zero Trust initiatives.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.
  • Experience supporting statewide, government, or large enterprise network infrastructures preferred.
  • Experience with network automation using Python, Ansible, or REST APIs preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Cisco Nexus platforms operating in ACI mode.
  • Configure and manage ACI fabrics including VRFs, Bridge Domains, EPGs, ESGs, L3Outs, contracts, and fabric policies.
  • Integrate Cisco ACI with virtualization and container platforms.
  • Configure and optimize RoCEv2 for high-performance networking workloads.
  • Troubleshoot ACI fabric health, endpoint learning, segmentation, and policy issues.
  • Deploy and support Cisco Catalyst campus networking environments.
  • Design and maintain Software Defined Access (SDA) wired and wireless fabrics.
  • Manage SDA underlay, overlay, policy enforcement, authentication integrations, and assurance operations.
  • Configure and administer Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
  • Support Zero Trust network architecture and identity-based segmentation initiatives.
  • Deploy and manage observability and analytics platforms including ThousandEyes, Cyber Vision, and DNA Spaces.
  • Analyze network performance, routing paths, telemetry, and operational metrics.
  • Troubleshoot routing, switching, multicast, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, STP, and QoS issues.
  • Design and implement Palo Alto Networks security solutions.
  • Develop architecture documentation, runbooks, standards, and asset inventories.
  • Support modernization initiatives, upgrades, procurement activities, and enterprise technology projects.
