We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team in the Bay Area, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in network infrastructure, troubleshooting, and Wi-Fi configuration and deployment. This is an onsite contract opportunity requiring excellent technical troubleshooting and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise Wi-Fi/WLAN networks.
  • Manage wireless access points, controllers, SSIDs, authentication, and network connectivity.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, and wireless issues.
  • Support network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and related devices.
  • Perform network configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Analyze network issues and implement effective resolutions.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and end users to resolve network-related incidents.
  • Maintain accurate network documentation and configuration records.
  • Follow established network security, change management, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar network infrastructure role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Wi-Fi/WLAN configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting wireless access points and wireless networks.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in the Bay Area, CA.

Preferred Qualifications
