Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer - Shoffstall

Job Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Our Client, you will play a critical role in the introduction of new products in electric drivetrain manufacturing. You will use your expertise to design, develop, and implement sophisticated manufacturing systems and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Create and modify process flow diagrams, Process FMEA, and control plans for new models.
  • Develop visual aids as required for various stations and assembly lines.
  • Provide detailed work instructions, including a list of required equipment, to assemble parts and assemblies according to engineering design specifications.
  • Create, modify, and update 3D modeling assembly files within the Team Center environment.
  • Identify and document parts and sub-assemblies at each station.
  • Work on Standard Work documentation in line with CPS/NPI requirements.
  • Perform line balancing and define process steps for each station.
  • Update CAPP+ Assembly planning.
  • Design and conduct process and safety failure mode effects analysis tests, recommending corrective actions and resolutions.
  • Create standard work procedures.
  • Leverage experience in electric motor manufacturing.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in manufacturing engineering, particularly in electric drivetrain manufacturing.
  • Experience with creating work instructions, assembly line balancing, and NPI-specific tasks.
  • Knowledge of ergonomics, safety, PFMEA, process flow diagrams, and standard work practices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $45.00/hr.
