FTS Network Services - Client WAN Engineer
TITLE: FTS Network Services - Client WAN Engineer
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Design, build and implement client WAN connectivity to access Fiserv products and services from customer locations. Solve complex technology information systems problems by analyzing business needs; analyzing existing systems; and recommending system enhancements to fulfill the business requirements in delivery of custom software solutions. Prepare, identify, research, and analyze requirement to ensure the requirements are clearly defined for connectivity. Work closely with Business Operations and Service and Case Management Stakeholder teams to understand detailed business requirements for design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high quality products to company users. Deploy new circuits and new Cisco and SDWAN (Versa) devices and build half managed VPN connections. Collaborate with numerous process owners to capture requirements and establish process to manage scope, risk, and issues in a continual process improvement cycle with internal client stakeholders. Develop and execute test requirements, test plans and test scenarios. Provide on-call services for problems and outages.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field and 2 years in any job title involving experience designing, deploying, and supporting WAN services. Prior experience must include 2 years in the following: Configuring, deploying, and supporting Cisco or Versa devices; Designing and deploying resilient WAN solutions with backup; Gathering design requirements and integrating requirements into network designs; Deploying and supporting MPLS, DMVPN, and IPSEC VPN services; Deploying and supporting routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP; and Network automation and scripting using Gitlab and Python.
