The Imaging Engineer II is a technical expert on at least two modalities (x-ray systems, and at least one advanced mission critical modality like CT, MRI, PET, Nuc, CVI) and serves as the primary equipment technician. The position is responsible for resolving advanced service repair needs of designated equipment and drives customer satisfaction through service excellence.

Minimum Education

  • Associates Degree Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Related field, Biomedical Engineering Required or
  • Three years of related experience maybe considered in lieu of degree Required


Minimum Work Experience

  • 4-6 years Experience servicing electrical equipment and experience interfacing with both internal customers as part of a solution-based service process. Required
  • Performs advanced troubleshooting and repair on assigned equipment.
  • Communicates with customers and serve as escalation point for customer-related concerns including installs.
  • Owns customer issues from dispatch or identification of issue to resolution. Proactively engage with other team members to ensure they are aware of status of all issues at all times for their designated customers.
  • Keeps up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner, ordering repair parts, and managing cycle times.
  • Utilizes the escalation process, as needed, and works to define and implement corrective action plans to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Leads, instructs, and assists less experienced engineers and provides coaching and technical feedback to team members.
  • Leads communications with customers and serve as escalation point for customer-related concerns including installs.
  • Maintains a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
