Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join their team. The primary purpose of this role is to work within the Governance, Risk and Compliance team to ensure proper controls are in place for solutions moving into the cloud production platform, while collaborating with various teams and industry peers on security matters.
Responsibilities:
• Works within the Governance, Risk and Compliance team to ensure proper controls are in place for solutions moving into Delta's cloud production platform.
• Work across teams to ensure teams understand Information Security requirements.
• Engage key industry peers to develop an atmosphere of cooperation with regard to security matters.
• Engage key technology vendors to develop an atmosphere of partnership on key initiatives and efforts.
• Perform special projects as assigned. Requires self-starters who work well with in largely a self-directed environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 6 years of work experience in IT with at least three years of security or security related experience.
• 6 years of network security experience i.e. reviewing firewall rules and/or network diagrams.
• Experience with industry security standards such as NIST 800-53, ISO27001, COBIT, etc.
• Must have good experience in AWS
• Python coding experience interacting with APIs
• Broad experience across Information Security domains such as governance & compliance, incident response, identity & access management, penetration testing, or e-discovery & forensics.
• Broad experience across IT domains such as application development, infrastructure, technical support and operations, or continuity of business.
Preferred:
• MS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Hands on experience with EC2, ECS, ELB, EBS, S3, VPC, IAM, SQS, RDS, Lambda, Cloud Watch, Storage Gateway, Cloud Formation, Elastic Beanstalk and Autoscaling.
• Key industry certifications such as CISSP, CFE, CISA, CISM, CI SSP, GCIH, etc.
• Experience developing, supporting, operating, or defending systems supporting various business functions.
• Experience partnering with Information Technology teams and business partners.
• Experience leading and coordinating security champions in the business.
• Experience communicating at the Vice President and Director level of a Fortune 100 organization.
• Experience presenting to large groups.
