  • Primary focus: Enterprise networking with strong, hands-on Cisco ACI experience
Sr. Network Engineer – Cisco ACI Role Summary
We are seeking a senior, hands-on Network Engineer to provide immediate operational and engineering support for the regional network environment. The successful candidate will bring strong enterprise routing and switching skills, with Cisco ACI as the primary area of expertise.
This role will stabilize day-to-day network operations, troubleshoot complex incidents, execute approved changes, and support the team during the transition to a permanent hire. The engineer will work independently, follow established processes, document work clearly, and provide regular status updates to management.
Sr. Network Engineer – Cisco ACI Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Cisco ACI infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot ACI fabric, policy, endpoint, connectivity, and application access issues.
  • Provide senior-level support for enterprise routing and switching, including Cisco IOS, NX-OS, BGP, and OSPF.
  • Lead or support resolution of high-severity network incidents within required service levels.
  • Execute network changes in accordance with change-management, security, and operational procedures.
  • Monitor network health and proactively identify issues affecting availability or performance.
  • Partner with infrastructure, security, application, and regional IT teams to resolve complex problems.
  • Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, configuration records, and knowledge-transfer materials.
  • Provide clear updates on incidents, changes, risks, priorities, and outstanding work.
  • Contribute to operational improvements and ensure a smooth handoff to the permanent replacement.
Sr. Network Engineer – Cisco ACI Required Experience and Skills
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting Cisco ACI in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong Cisco networking background across routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of BGP and OSPF.
  • Experience supporting production networks in a fast-paced, high-availability environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot across network, security, infrastructure, and application dependencies.
  • Strong change-management discipline and attention to documentation quality.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing requests, and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent practical experience preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with Cisco NX-OS and enterprise data-center networking.
  • Exposure to firewalls, load balancing, SD-WAN, network monitoring, or network access control.

Success in the Interim Assignment
Success will be measured by the engineer’s ability to quickly become effective in the environment, resolve incidents and requests, execute high-quality changes, improve documentation, and transfer knowledge to the incoming permanent resource.
