Description
The Skyworks Mobile Solutions Business (MSB) Characterization Team is looking for a Co-op student for Winter/Spring (January - June 2027). This team develops test solutions to support the design, test, and performance analysis of analog hardware devices for the mobile industry.
Development Efforts
• High-level automation for hardware testing and performance analysis
• Test bench/part configuration, test solution generation , data collection , real-time monitoring, result diagnosis and report generation
Responsibilities
• Design, implement, test, and maintain a software project through life cycle
• Participate in code reviews and issue tracking
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Write documentation on any activities
Required Experience and Skills
Must be enrolled in a university at the bachelors or masters level.
Must work onsite in Irvine January - June 2027
Experience with the following:
• C++, C#, Python, and SQL
• GitHub
• Copilot, Cursor, and Claude
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in and thrive in a team environment
Desired Experience and Skills
• Computer Science degree or related major
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
