Network Engineer

Location: On-Site - Arlington, VA
Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability clearance, as required by federal contract.

Summary:
The Network Engineer will support DHS CISA by designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructure for mission-critical systems. This role ensures network reliability, performance, and compliance with federal security standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure, monitor, and manage LAN/WAN, VPN, and firewall solutions.

  • Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, and performance issues.

  • Implement DHS and NIST security controls, including Zero Trust principles.

  • Develop and maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams and configurations.

  • Collaborate with system administrators, cloud engineers, and security teams to optimize network operations.
