RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Memphis, TN that is seeking a L3 Data Center Engineer.
Summary:
The Implementation/Deployment Technician Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all field installation and deployment activities associated with the network infrastructure project. This role provides day-to-day leadership for deployment technicians and subcontractors, ensuring that all installation work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. The Tech serves as the primary field coordinator between the Project Manager, Lead Network Engineer, structured cabling teams, subcontractors, and customer site representatives to ensure successful implementation and commissioning of network equipment.
Responsibilities:
* Daily installation schedules and work assignments
* Site readiness verification reports
* Installation quality inspections
* Equipment inventory and asset tracking
* Daily field progress reports
* Punch-list management
* Installation completion documentation
* As-built installation records
* Customer site acceptance support
REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have a NASCLA (National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies) certification or Tennessee Board for Contractors (TBLC issues CE-C (communications and Low voltage) electrical Contractors License
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
Technical Skills:
* Enterprise network equipment installation
* Rack and cabinet installation
* Copper and fiber optic cabling
* Patch panel installation and cable management
* Power distribution and UPS installation
* Wireless access point installation
* Equipment staging and asset management
* Hardware troubleshooting and replacement

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
