Core Focus: Assessing power requirements for IP devices, selecting next-generation access switches, and designing robust power backup systems.

Switch Recommendations & Procurement:

- Evaluate current network loads and recommend enterprise-grade switch upgrades.

- Match switch uplink and port density needs to floor-level requirements.

- Verify PoE budget capacities, thermal ratings, and fan noise levels for IDF/MDF closets.

- Configure initial switch settings, VLANs, and Layer 2/3 features using Cisco IOS/NX-OS.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- CCNP certification preferred

- Intermediate MS Office Skills

- Knowledge of network, storage, server, and application architecture
