Role Overview
The Network Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the administration, maintenance, security, and continuous improvement of the plant's rapidly expanding network infrastructure. This role supports a highly integrated environment consisting of Cisco Wireless, VoIP, Routing and Switching, ISE, NAC, and Load Balancing technologies that are critical to the reliable operation of Office Automation (OA) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). The position plays a key role in ensuring network stability, strengthening cybersecurity controls, optimizing performance, and supporting ongoing infrastructure growth while minimizing operational risk and downtime.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure, including Cisco Wireless, Routing, Switching, VoIP, ISE, NAC, and Load Balancer platforms to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Monitor network performance, capacity, and utilization; proactively identify issues and implement improvements to maintain optimal system operation.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for network-related incidents affecting OA and MES environments, ensuring minimal business and production impact.
  • Administer and enforce network security policies, including access control, authentication, network segmentation, and compliance with corporate security standards.
  • Lead and support network infrastructure expansion projects, system upgrades, and technology deployments to accommodate continued business growth and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize network solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, and resilience.
  • Respond to network incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve service stability, reduce downtime, and enhance overall operational effectiveness.

Must-Have Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure in a manufacturing, industrial, or corporate environment.
  • Strong expertise with Cisco networking technologies, including Routing, Switching, Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), and Cisco IOS.
  • CCNP Routing and Switching certification or equivalent advanced networking knowledge.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving LAN/WAN performance, connectivity, and security issues.
  • Experience configuring and supporting network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, access control, and authentication systems.
  • Ability to document network configurations, follow change management processes, and communicate technical issues effectively to management and cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have Requirements
  • CCNP Wireless and/or CCNP Voice certification.
  • Experience with Cisco network management and monitoring tools, including Cisco ACS, Cisco WCS, Cisco MARS, and StealthWatch.
  • Experience supporting Cisco VoIP, voice messaging systems, and unified communications technologies.
  • Experience with disaster recovery planning, network backup and restore procedures, and large-scale infrastructure deployment projects.
