Location: Richardson, TX (100% Onsite)
Duration: Long-Term Contract with Potential to Convert to Full-Time Employment

Job Summary The Lab / Warehouse Technician III-IV is responsible for staging, assembling, testing, inventorying, and preparing telecommunications and network equipment for deployment to customer sites nationwide. This role supports large-scale telecommunications infrastructure projects by ensuring all equipment, materials, and deployment kits are accurately built, validated, documented, and shipped according to project requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, a sense of ownership, and the ability to manage their work independently while supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This position works within both warehouse and lab settings and plays a critical role in the successful execution of nationwide telecommunications infrastructure deployments. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform warehouse pre-builds and staging activities for telecommunications, network, and data center equipment.
  • Assemble deployment kits, racks, shelves, cable management systems, and associated hardware according to engineering specifications.
  • Receive, inspect, inventory, and document incoming equipment and materials.
  • Verify Bills of Material (BOMs) and ensure deployment packages contain all required components prior to shipment.
  • Label, package, and prepare equipment for deployment to customer sites throughout the United States.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure equipment is properly configured, documented, and deployment-ready.
  • Perform basic equipment testing, software loading, firmware updates, and validation activities as required.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and track assets throughout the staging and deployment process.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, cabling, packaging, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, logistics personnel, and field technicians to ensure deployment readiness.
  • Process equipment returns, RMAs, repairs, and refurbishment activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and lab environment.
  • Complete all required documentation, inventory records, shipping manifests, and project tracking reports.
  • Support multiple concurrent projects while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications Level III
  • 3โ€“5 years of experience in telecommunications, warehouse operations, network infrastructure, data center environments, equipment staging, logistics, or related technical fields.
Level IV
  • 5+ years of experience supporting telecommunications infrastructure deployments, network equipment staging, warehouse operations, or technical deployment environments.
  • Previous experience leading staging activities or supporting large-scale deployment projects preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Experience handling telecommunications, network, or data center equipment.
  • Familiarity with routers, switches, optical transport systems, servers, power equipment, and structured cabling.
  • Ability to read and follow engineering documentation, equipment lists, deployment instructions, and work orders.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and asset tracking processes.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills related to hardware, cabling, and deployment readiness.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and documentation tools.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and work throughout warehouse and lab environments for extended periods.
