Job description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing enterprise network infrastructure, endpoint security, and remote access solutions. This role requires deep familiarity with FortiClient VPN/ZTNA, Ubiquiti networking equipment, and general enterprise IT operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain FortiClient endpoints and FortiGate security policies across the organization.
  • Administer and monitor Ubiquiti UniFi routers, switches, and wireless access points across all office locations.
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall rules.
  • Manage DNS, DHCP, and IP address management (IPAM) for the corporate network.
  • Monitor network performance and uptime; respond to outages and escalate as needed.
  • Maintain endpoint security, antivirus, and patch management across Windows and macOS environments.
  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and user/device lifecycle management.
  • Support cloud infrastructure and hybrid connectivity (Azure AD, Microsoft 365, or equivalent).
  • Document network diagrams, configurations, runbooks, and change management records.
  • Lead centralized device deployment and management using Microsoft Intune and Azure AD - including device enrollment, compliance policies, conditional access, and app deployment.
  • Provide hands-on laptop and desktop hardware support - troubleshooting, component-level repairs, assembly, hardware replacement, and warranty management.
  • Own the employee onboarding and offboarding process end-to-end - provisioning and deprovisioning accounts, devices, software access, and ensuring timely, secure transitions.
  • Manage and optimize SaaS license inventory - including provisioning, deprovisioning, renewals, and utilization audits across all company software subscriptions.
  • Track, report, and forecast IT-related costs including hardware, software licenses, subscriptions, and vendor contracts; identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated IT issues across the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on IT projects, hardware procurement, and capacity planning.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in an IT Administrator or Network Administrator role.
  • Hands-on experience with FortiClient (VPN, ZTNA, or EMS management).
  • Proficient in Ubiquiti UniFi product line: routers, switches, and UniFi Network Controller/Console.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, BGP/OSPF, VLANs, NAT, QoS, and subnetting.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting firewalls and security policies.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
  • Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a systematic approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Skills:
  • Fortinet NSE certifications (NSE 4 or higher).
  • Ubiquiti UEWA or UENP certification.
  • CompTIA Network+, Security+, or CCNA certification.
  • Experience with SIEM tools, network monitoring (PRTG, Zabbix, or similar).
  • Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet) and SD-WAN solutions.
  • Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for automation tasks.
