Job Summary:
Ascension Federal Services, Inc. is seeking a LAN/WAN Specialist to provide on-site support for LAN/WAN networks. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting network issues, installing and configuring network equipment, and providing end-user support.
Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site support for LAN/WAN networks
• Website Support a updates
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network connectivity, hardware and software
• Install and configure network equipment and software
• Provide end-user support
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience as a PC LAN/WAN Technician
• Strong knowledge of Helpdesk ticketing processes
• Experience with network equipment and software installation and configuration
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
• Relational database structure and development of related languages (VBA/VB/SQL/VBScript, etc.) desired.
