Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Corvallis, OR that is seeking an I&C Technician to support a large-scale network readdressing project. This role will update PLC and SCADA systems, modify IP addresses, develop detailed procedures, and ensure system functionality with minimal operational impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Update network diagrams and device IP addresses
* Review PLC code and validate system controls
* Develop and execute Method of Procedure (MOP) documents
* Perform PLC shutdowns, restarts, backups, firmware updates, and system testing
* Update and validate Cimplicity SCADA communications
* Coordinate with IT, engineers, and operations teams
* Troubleshoot and resolve PLC and network communication issues
REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills
* Knowledge of industrial networking and IP addressing
* Ability to create and execute detailed MOPs
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Strong PLC, SCADA, and industrial networking experience who can successfully execute critical system changes while minimizing operational downtime
Preferred Qualifications
* Industrial automation and control systems experience
* Experience with large-scale PLC migration or re-IP projects
* Ability to work independently and coordinate across multiple teams
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
