Capacity & Supply Planner

The Capacity & Supply Planner position is responsible for all product deployment and forecasting activities associated with customers and operations. The Capacity & Supply Planner creates and supports product replenishments, kitting production, and product rollouts network wide. Leveraging business intelligence, production/capacity plans, and customer insights, the Capacity & Supply Planner is the integration point into the customer and operations team. Basic production scheduling and short-term forecast modeling are the responsibility of this position.

This position supports the monthly consensus forecasting process and is a key contributor to the monthly SIOP process.

Responsibilities:

Develops a rolling production schedule for kitting initiatives, support account / customer driven programing, proper work requisitions, and with focus on WIP management and cost to serve.

Maintains strong relationships and works closely and collaborates with account teams, kitting team, operations team and Customer to support requirements around kitting initiatives.

Will support and drive replenishments and short-term product deployment leveraging statistical modeling such as pull-replenishment at the distribution level.

Collaborates with SIOP, executive leadership, finance, procurement, account, demand planner, and Warehouse teams to ensure that all demand plans are in alignment from a distribution-level perspective.

Delivers the confirmed unconstrained unit forecast at the appropriate level to the supply planning and purchasing / procurement.

Works closely with the Demand planning, account, kitting and purchasing teams to understand supply issues and potential mitigation issues.

Look at opportunities to gain efficiencies, additional scale, and approach operation with a continuous improvement mindset.

Manage and maintain forecasting and demand planning systems and software.

Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process Key Results:

Supports Distribution inventory deployment through replenishment recommendations and drive SLAs with kitting production.

Strong relationships among account, procurement, finance, capacity / supply planners, which will lead to effective knowledge sharing and an optimal consensus forecast to facilitate the decision-making process.

Refined system and methods to continually improve replenishment & kitting deployment to support customer demand.

Execute with excellence in the area of customer replenishment and feedback to the Supply Chain group the opportunities and risks regarding customer replenishment performance metrics.

Qualifications:

4 + years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, supply chain, or related field

Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting, production scheduling, and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts

Demonstrated proficiency using root cause analysis to improve forecast accuracy and inventory deployment processes.

Ability to independently identify and resolve problems or take advantage of opportunities.

Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, and presentation skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with all teams, areas, and levels of business affecting the forecasting process.

Familiarity with co-packing/repacking production, inventory management, direct distribution, and pull-replenishment modeling

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office skills Proficiency with Tableau or PowerBI reporting tools, desired Planning system experience preferred

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business management, Economics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience Computer Skills:
