Job description

Job Title: QA Test Engineer – Cable/Network Infrastructure

Location: Denver, CO 80122 Hybrid (4 Days Onsite / 1 Day Remote)

About the Role

This is a new position created due to team expansion. The selected candidate will be part of a team responsible for supporting lab infrastructure and validating software and feature development performed by the engineering team. The team conducts QA testing on newly developed features and bug fixes across multiple environments supporting TV and Cable devices.

Team Information

  • Supports lab infrastructure for TV and Cable devices.
  • Works closely with development teams to validate new features and bug fixes.
  • Supports 10–12 different testing environments.
  • Global team structure with members located in India and Colorado.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute QA testing for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Create, maintain, and execute test scripts.
  • Perform testing across multiple lab environments and devices.
  • Run RF spectrum analysis and troubleshoot related issues.
  • Validate cable/network infrastructure functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and resolve defects.
  • Track and manage testing activities through Jira.
  • Leverage AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to improve testing efficiency and productivity.
  • Document test results, findings, and recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in QA, testing, or lab infrastructure support.
  • Hands-on experience with RF testing and spectrum analysis.
  • Knowledge of DOCSIS and/or Cable technologies.
  • Basic to intermediate networking experience.
  • Experience with Python scripting for test automation or test execution.
  • Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing/defect tracking systems.
  • Understanding of AI-assisted tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, for workflow optimization.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in lab environments supporting TV, Cable, or broadband devices.
  • Ability to work across multiple testing environments simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
