Position Overview: We are seeking Cable Technicians to support a new major data center build in Cedar Rapids, IA. Technicians will be responsible for installing, routing, organizing, and labeling fiber optic and network cabling throughout the facility while working alongside experienced data center professionals.

*Responsibilities
  • Install, pull, route, and secure fiber optic and structured cabling throughout the data center.
  • Dress, organize, and manage cables in trays, racks, and pathways.
  • Assist with cable terminations, labeling, and documentation.
  • Spot and support technicians working from eco lifts and elevated work platforms.
  • Read blueprints, network diagrams, and installation drawings.
  • Ensure cable installations meet project specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and follow all site safety requirements.
  • Work at ground level and from lifts approximately 10-12 feet in the air.
*Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to read blueprints and project layouts.
  • Ability to distinguish cable colors and read small labels and print.
  • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
