Job description

Overview:
Role: Network Automation Engineer
Location: Plano, TX
Duration: 6 months
• Collaborate with clients to understand technical requirements and business objectives, ensuring compatibility with existing IT infrastructure.
• Execute hands-on implementation of completed Arista designs and configurations.
• Perform rigorous testing to ensure system stability, efficiency, and security prior to full-scale deployment.
• Provide detailed documentation and standard operating procedures to support client understanding of new systems and changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during implementation, delivering timely and effective solutions.
• Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Evaluate post-implementation system performance and provide ongoing support and optimization.
• Run and validate Ansible scripts; identify and resolve issues in execution.
• Apply basic networking knowledge and familiarity with Arista CVP.
• Demonstrate leadership, initiative, and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively across teams and levels, both verbally and in writing.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and technical acumen.
• Partner collaboratively with others to support project success.
• Prioritize workload and respond proactively to emerging issues.
REQUIRMENTS -
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, finance, or related field; technical training accepted.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical role, preferably with Arista, BGP, and automation.
• Experience with Ansible required; Python and Unix/Linux background are a plus.
• CCIE certification preferred.
• Experience in financial services (insurance, banking, investment banking) is a plus.
• Ability to manage risk, make sound decisions, and align actions with business strategy.
