At Ingram Micro, our Technical Solutions Specialists play a critical role in helping partners design, build, and deliver technology solutions that solve real-world business challenges. As part of our BUILD team, you will be one of the first points of engagement in the sales cycle, partnering with resellers and internal stakeholders to develop complete network security solutions that align with customer requirements and business objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Design and build network security solutions that align with customer requirements and existing technology environments.
  • Engage with reseller partners and internal teams via phone, email, chat, and virtual meetings.
  • Assess customer needs by identifying business objectives, budget requirements, end-user information, project timelines, and anticipated close dates.
  • Develop complete solutions that include appropriate products, services, maintenance, warranties, support offerings, and complementary technologies.
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across networking, security, and adjacent technology categories.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations that support partner sales efforts and customer outcomes.
  • Maintain productivity, responsiveness, and engagement metrics while delivering a high-quality customer experience.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of professional experience or 2+ years of relevant functional experience in technology, sales support, technical solutions, customer-facing technical support, networking, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, or a related field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and consultative skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications and business productivity tools.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $50,500.00 - $80,800.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
