Job Summary

The Network Analyst is responsible for infrastructure support, planning, implementation, and maintenance of networking and security systems across the organization. This role supports networking and telecom hardware and software, performs system upgrades, monitors network health, and ensures system security and uptime. The Network Analyst collaborates with Systems Engineers, Helpdesk, and Desktop Support Teams to deliver reliable and efficient IT services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Assist with design, setup, and implementation of networking solutions; Perform daily production support; Support patching and deployments; Troubleshoot network issues and provide technical support; Maintain monitoring and alerting systems; Collaborate with IT teams; Ensure compliance with security and HIPAA standards; Identify automation opportunities; Support phone system operations; Manage support tickets and resolve in a timely manner; Participate in on-call rotation; Provide customer-focused service; Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma required; Three (3) years of IT experience; Knowledge of networking fundamentals; Understanding of network protocols, switching, wireless, firewalls, and VPNs; Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare IT experience; Professional certifications (Cisco, VMware, Aruba, Palo Alto) or ability to obtain within six (6) months; Experience with Cisco or Aruba switching and wireless; Experience with Fortinet firewalls and VoIP systems.

Skills & Competencies

Understanding of networking principles and architecture; Knowledge of wireless networks, NAT, VPNs, firewalls, and security standards; Experience with ticketing systems; Ability to troubleshoot UPS and network equipment; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to document processes; Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions

Standard IT environment; May require after-hours work, on-call rotation, and project-based extended hours; Frequent collaboration with multiple IT teams; Requires responsiveness to system alerts and operational needs.
