GDIT is seeking a Network Engineer Senior to support USPACOM J6 MPE Architecture and System Design Engineering activities at Yokota AB, JP, helping modernize enterprise IT capabilities and strengthen mission partner interoperability across the Pacific.

How the Network Engineer Senior Will Make an Impact
  • Support architecture, engineering planning, and design activities for MPE (mission partner environment) Architecture and System Design Engineering.
  • Translate operational and mission partner requirements into executable technical plans, designs, and integration actions.
  • Provide tactical data link expertise to support joint, coalition, and mission partner interoperability.
  • Coordinate technical requirements involving operational communications, network integration, and data exchange across partner environments.
  • Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.
  • Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Education: Technical training, certification(s), or equivalent experience; degree not explicitly required by the external labor category.
  • Required Experience:BA/BS degree and 8+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoD/enterprise IT environment.
  • Required Technical Skills: tactical data links; joint/coalition interoperability; MPE network integration; operational coordination; technical analysis; mission partner communications.
  • Security Clearance Level: Final Secret.
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments. Experience working in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders. Experience with mission partner, coalition, tactical, or multi-enclave networking.

The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $141,450. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
