Hyve Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven Network Administrator (3rd shift) with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides mid-level technical support to employees
  • Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems and network issues
  • Maintains data integrity and file system security
  • Communicates technical information to both technical and non-technical employees
  • Participates in development of IT and infrastructure projects
  • May conduct training designed to educate users on basic applications
  • Familiarity with basic system administration tools and processes
  • Works on problems of moderate scope
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships
  • Manage and maintain client network infrastructure based on Fortinet security products, HP ComWare/Procurve switching, and Ruckus WIFI
  • Manage and maintain client server infrastructure based on HP blades, VMWare, SAN and various storage product
  • Provide expertise on system performance tuning, capacity planning and maintenance patching
  • Provide 24 x 7 on call support and onsite support during major issues
  • Working closely with CCT clients on project management, team collaboration, and vendor coordination
  • Effectively estimates analysis workload and meets target dates for completion
  • Design and deploy IT infrastructure for new sites and datacenter
  • Possesses the core technology competencies within their discipline to design, test, implement, enhance and support approved technologies
  • Analyze and assess the impact and risk of low to medium risk changes on production systems
  • Participate and execute an established Business Continuity Plan
  • Escalation level of end-user support

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of the various Infrastructure components (Network, Servers, IT Security, Databases, storage, Desktop) and their dependencies as well as relationships
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Exchange in hybrid environment, Office 365, Azure and ADFS
  • Solid experience with Windows 2008-2012 R2, VMWare 6.7, CentOS
  • Solid troubleshooting experience.
  • Proven in project management and deployment
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Transforms business designs/requirements into technical designs/solutions. Experienced in datacenter build out
  • Moderate experience with enterprise network architecture

Education & Experience

  • Requires a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
