What is a Netsuite Developer Remote job?

A NetSuite Developer Remote job involves designing, customizing, and maintaining NetSuite ERP systems while working from a remote location. Responsibilities typically include scripting with SuiteScript, integrating third-party applications, developing workflows, and troubleshooting system issues. To thrive as a Netsuite Developer Remote, you need expertise in SuiteScript, SuiteTalk (web services), and strong knowledge of NetSuite ERP workflows, often backed by a degree in computer science or related certifications. Familiarity with APIs, SuiteBuilder, JavaScript, and NetSuite certification are highly valuable for the technical requirements of the role. These challenges are usually addressed by leveraging project management tools, using collaborative platforms like Slack or Jira, and participating in regular video meetings to stay connected with colleagues. Additionally, remote developers are typically provided with documentation and access to sandbox environments for testing and development, which aids in independent problem-solving. Successful remote Netsuite Developers prioritize clear written updates, proactive outreach for clarification, and ongoing learning to stay current with evolving NetSuite functionalities.
