Job description

At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what's next.

The Content Production & Studio (CPS) Product team is responsible for driving the strategy, prioritization, and execution of Netflix's technology investments focused on creating and managing the production of content. We work with diverse and globally-distributed groups of business users, productions, and vendors. Our team's primary superpower is the ability to work creatively and collaboratively in highly technical environments. As a member of this team, you will lead the integration of Netflix's flagship generative AI capabilities into a unified, intuitive artist studio experience.

The Role

We are seeking a Product Manager with deep expertise at the intersection of generative AI and creative tooling. You will define the product vision and end-to-end workflows for an AI-powered Creative Suite, leveraging state-of-the-art generative image and video capabilities into a unified surface that amplifies human creativity. Leading a team focused on innovation, you will collaborate closely with AI research and engineering, filmmakers, user researchers, and cross-functional partners to design creator-centric features that compound creative possibilities. As creative tools undergo a transformational leap, you will set new standards for AI-assisted production and editorial workflows, user experience, and technology, while keeping the artist at the center.

This role requires a unique combination of strong product management expertise, a firm grasp of generative image and video capabilities, and a deep understanding of the creative tool ecosystem. You will address the complex needs of creatives (including directors, editors, colorists, and VFX artists), using cutting-edge technologies to shape the future of cinematic storytelling.

This is an onsite role based in Los Angeles. Regular monthly travel to Los Gatos is expected to support in-person collaboration.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the creation of an AI-powered Creative Suite, consolidating multimodal AI capabilities to provide a state-of-the-art artist experience.

  • Partner closely with UX/UI design, AI R&D, engineering, user research teams, and creatives to deliver scalable products with production-ready features that artists love.

  • Own the end-to-end product strategy for an AI-assisted experience, from production to post, spanning image and video generation, modification, and timeline-based editing. Ensure creators can transition smoothly from generative exploration to precise, deterministic control.

  • Define and secure interoperability with Netflix platforms and various DCC tools to fit and scale to real-world studio pipelines.

  • Build seamless collaboration features for creative teams, supporting shared projects, versioning, review, and complex production workflows.

  • Lead the product roadmap by identifying high-impact opportunities, prioritizing features, defining success metrics, and supporting end-to-end delivery.

  • Drive rapid iteration through prototyping, experimentation, and close engagement with creators, designers, and researchers, maintaining an "AI-builder" mindset.

  • Partner with peer PMs, Studio Ops, Production Services, and Content leaders to align on requirements, milestones, and slate needs, while driving adoption.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, with a proven track record of building video creation, editing, or production tools for creators or professional teams.

  • Deep domain expertise in AI video generation and modification workflows, and filmmaking techniques using AI-assisted production and post-production techniques.

  • Proven experience delivering products that support both individual creators and enterprise-scale collaborative workflows.

  • Strong product judgment and a builder's mindset to transform explorationary product features into cohesive, professional-grade products.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to align research, design, and creative practitioners around a unified vision.
