Job description

At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology.

Come be a part of what's next. We're seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead design for a key area within our Partnership Enablement Platform. In this role, you'll shape the developer tools, platforms, and services that enable Netflix's global ecosystem of device manufacturers, telecom operators, and technology partners to successfully integrate and launch Netflix experiences.

You'll work at the intersection of product, engineering, partner operations, and business teams to create scalable solutions that help partners navigate the integration journey from onboarding and certification to API adoption, testing, launch, and ongoing operations. We're looking for a designer who thrives in highly technical environments and has experience designing developer platforms, APIs, SDKs, documentation experiences, enterprise products, or other technical workflows. You can translate complex systems into intuitive, efficient, and impactful experiences for both technical and non-technical audiences.

You'll partner closely with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to create products that empower partners to build with Netflix at global scale. More About Our Team Delivering Netflix to millions of members requires world-class partnerships and seamless product integrations. Behind every successful integration is a sophisticated ecosystem of developer tools, partner portals, APIs, documentation, certification workflows, and operational platforms.

The Partner Enablement Design team creates the platforms, tools, and services that enable device manufacturers, telecom operators, and technology partners to integrate, certify, launch, and scale Netflix experiences around the world. As part of this team, you'll join a group of designers known for exceptional craft, systems thinking, and a deep ability to collaborate in complex technical environments. Your work will directly influence how Netflix reaches members around the world, enabling partners to bring Netflix experiences to market faster, improve integration quality, and unlock new opportunities for growth.

Why You'll Love Our Team We're big on individual responsibility and smart on process. Work with stunning, supportive designers on problems that matter. Top of market compensation and benefits, flexible time off, and work-life-balance.

Flexibility to balance work-from-home and in-office work, so long as you're able to be onsite for meaningful moments of collaboration. Freedom and flexibility to craft your own AI-augmented design workflow, while harnessing Netflix's world-class design system and tooling. An inclusive environment to help you do your best work and feel genuinely supported.

What You Will Do Lead design strategy and execution for critical areas of Netflix's Partner Enablement Platform, leveraging AI to accelerate exploration, prototyping, and iteration. Shape the future of Netflix partnerships by identifying opportunities, conducting research, and driving strategic initiatives that unlock next-generation experiences. Craft design briefs that provide business, design, and engineering clarity for critical initiatives.

Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, technical writers, and business stakeholders to define, prototype, test, and deliver high-impact solutions. Drive end-to-end design excellence from systems thinking and interaction design to workflow optimization and service design, ensuring experiences are intuitive, scalable, and effective for global partners. Champion a deep understanding of partner needs, technical constraints, and business objectives through research, data, and continuous engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

Influence product direction and platform strategy through strong design leadership, clear communication, and a commitment to delivering measurable business and partner impact. About You 8+ years of product design experience, including experience designing developer platforms, enterprise software, technical products, or other complex systems at scale. Demonstrated Expertise in Cross-Functional Influence: Proven ability to partner with engineering, product management, and business stakeholders, acting as a strategic thought partner rather than just an executor.

Deep Systems Thinking: Deep systems thinker with experience designing scalable platforms, frameworks, and interaction patterns that support multiple products, workflows, and user groups. Design Craft Excellence: Strong interaction design, information architecture, and visual design skills, demonstrated through a portfolio of complex product experiences. Mastery of Simplification: You thrive in ambiguous environments and can take highly complex, technical, or regulated processes and translate them into clear, inclusive, and seamless user experiences.

Self-Starter: Take initiative in setting a clear vision and harnessing the energy required to inspire and motivate team members. Leverage workshops, data insights, and research to contribute to the Experience Design (XD) roadmap and foster alignment across the organization. Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses.

You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $350,000.00 - $520,000.00

This compensation range will vary based on location. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs.

Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off. Full-time salaried employees are immediately entitled to flexible time off. See more details about our Benefits here.

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, ancestry, national origin, caste, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, age, disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic makeup, marital status, or military service.
