Job Summary:
Scalence L.L.C. is seeking a Netcool AIOps Engineer with expertise in Cloud Pak. The role involves integrating traditional IBM Netcool Operations Insight systems with the AI-powered capabilities of the IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps platform, focusing on automating IT operations and improving incident resolution.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Connecting existing on-premises Netcool Omnibus and Netcool Impact environments with IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps using provided connectors. This includes migrating existing event filters and runbook automation policies.
โ€ข Ensuring seamless bidirectional synchronization of event data between Netcool and the AIOps platform.
โ€ข This involves configuring data mapping and transformation rules (often using JSONATA) for consistent alert and event processing across systems.
โ€ข Creating and implementing automation policies and runbooks (often using Netcool Impact policies and potentially Python Bash scripts) within the AIOps environment to automatically diagnose and remediate IT issues.
โ€ข Assisting in feeding quality data to the AIOps platforms machine learning models to enable event grouping | log anomaly detection | metric anomaly detection | and change risk assessment.
