Title: Storage Administrator Location: Dahlgren, Virginia (ON-SITE) Clearance Required: Top Secret Certification Required: Security+ or IAT Level 2 Top Skills Required: •NAS/SAN experience with NetApp, EMC VNX, Synology and QNAP technologies
•Experience with VMWare
•Experience with backup software with EMC Networker
•Relevant certifications
•Experience in building high-availability solutions
•Knowledge of IP networking
•Relevant experience in a support center
•Experience with a variety of different hardware platforms
•Proficient in hardware configuration and troubleshooting, including RAID
•Familiar with common software tools and protocols, including DNS, DHCP, etc.
•Project management skills and managing projects
•Self-motivated, team player
•Heavy focus on organization and consistency
•Familiar with shipping and receiving
•Excellent written and oral communication

• Identifying performance problems and malfunctions, addressing systems and equipment problems, performing hardware checks using the necessary testing tools and maintaining hardware.
• Responsible for ensuring that the support and management of large scale messaging and collaboration environments and tools are maintained to the highest standard with maximum levels of productivity and efficiency.
• Proper installation and rack mounting of equipment, including adds and moves
• Upgrading and configuring BIOS, firmware, drivers, and other software
• Imaging and initial configuration of various types of equipment
• Installation and configuration of server components and modules
• Troubleshoot hardware, infrastructure issues and repairing/replacing failed parts
• Processing returns for products under warranty
• Escorting vendors when required
• Manage and complete trouble tickets
• Tracking infrastructure usage and availability, including space and power
• Work closely with Facilities team on HVAC and power issues
• Maintaining diagrams and inventory of equipment and assets
• Lifecycle management of support center hardware, including recycling and sparing
• Creating and revising SOPs for infrastructure maintenance and tasks • This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) or the ability to be obtain an (Interim Secret, Interim Top Secret)
