We have an exciting opportunity for aSenior System Administrator to join the JETSII Contract.

The Senior System Administrator will:

  • Perform daily maintenance and operations tasks related to Windows system administration in a multi-server environment.
  • Provide maintenance and performance tuning of the virtual environment utilizing VMware.
  • Oversee patch remediation and software deployment.
  • Maintain and enhance system security across the environment.
  • Monitor systems and produce required reports to maintain documented service levels.
  • Provide support for local and shared services (account management, storage arrays, disaster recovery, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain IT automation solutions using Kaseya, PowerShell, and other enterprise automation tools.
  • Update documentation and maintain configuration control for the environment.
  • Manage multiple projects for improvements to the infrastructure as the Technical Lead.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requisition Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in a related area and normally possess 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Requires independent analysis, communication and problem solving.
  • Candidate should also have a strong background in the understanding of Windows domain architecture, Active Directory, local area networking, switches, firewall, systems/network security and load balancing to perform day to day duties.
  • Must have a minimum of 10 years of system administration managing multiple servers.
  • Must have prior work experience working in windows administration.
  • Candidate should have a firm understanding of networking and firewall principles.
  • Candidate should have a firm understanding of File Storage Systems
  • Candidate should have a firm understanding of working with Dell Blade systems
  • Must have knowledge of Windows Server 2016 and above, VMware
  • Must have knowledge with Kaseya and automation

Requisition Preferences:

  • BS degree in a computer or systems science discipline from an accredited college or university and a minimum of ten (10) to fourteen (14) years of progressive, relevant experience, or a MS degree in a computer or systems science discipline and seven (7) to twelve (12) years of progressive experience, or Ph.D. degrees in a computer or systems science discipline and two (2) to seven (7) years progressive experience.
  • Would prefer someone with experience with the following technologies:
