Position Overview

We are seeking a NETA Level II Electrical Acceptance Testing Technician to support electrical acceptance testing and commissioning activities on large-scale data center construction projects. This role focuses on standardized testing, ATS support, and field execution under the direction of senior NETA personnel.

This position is strictly aligned to NETA acceptance testing and commissioningโ€”not commissioning-only work.

Key Responsibilities

Support NETA acceptance testing and commissioning in accordance with NETA ATS standards
Assist with ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) testing and commissioning
Perform standardized electrical tests under the supervision of a NETA Level III or IV lead
Assist with medium-voltage (MV) cable terminations as they relate to testing and commissioning activities
Collect, document, and support preparation of test data and reports
Follow all electrical safety, site safety, and quality procedures
Support long-duration data center construction projects in an active field environment
Requirements

Required Qualifications

Experience supporting electrical acceptance testing and commissioning
Working knowledge of NETA testing procedures and documentation
Background in one or more of the following:
Electrical testing firms
Industrial or commercial electrical contractors
Utility, power generation, or mission-critical facilities
Ability to work under direction of senior testing personnel
Preferred Qualifications

NETA Level II Certification or actively working toward certification
NICET-certified technicians eligible to test into NETA are strongly encouraged to apply
Prior exposure to data center or mission-critical environments
Experience with MV/LV equipment from a testingโ€”not installationโ€”perspective
