Role: Applinx Web Developer

Location: Jackson, MS (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ months

Job Description:
MDHS is currently seeking Applinx Web developers to continue maintaining the Applinx web development modernization designs that have been implemented in the JAWS and MAVERICS legacy applications. Limited enhancements may also be needed as necessary. MDHS is seeking consultant services to collaborate with MDHS staff to properly incorporate, test and implement changes and provide a transfer of knowledge so that MDHS staff can support said services comfortably. Skills should include an experienced ApplinX/Web professional able to establish and support ApplinX-related operations according to best practices-ApplinX servers, ApplinX designer seats, ApplinX applications, ApplinX web applications, and ApplinX NATAPX hosts.

Required Skills/Experience:

7+ years in JAVA.

Hands-on experience developing and maintaining Applinx solutions.

Experience in working with ApplinX version 11 or later.

Experience in working with customers to build and formulate business requirements.

Knowledge of agile software development.

Good working knowledge of modern web technologies (e.g. HTML,CSS, JavaScript) and integration methods.

Programming skills in JAVA or Microsoft .NET.

Candidates must have strong analytical ability to structure well-performing websites.

Candidates must have strong communication skills: written, oral, and presentation.
