Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Engineer opportunity in Oak Ridge, TN at the Y-12 National Security Complex.
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" Clearance (active clearance preferred)
Job Description:
  • Subcontractor will provide Project Engineering support and coordination for various projects across one but not limited to; Commercial, Infrastructure, Production Modernization, and/or Production Stockpile projects. Subcontractor will also provide
  • Project Engineering support necessary to complete planning, design and implementation of new machine tools and/or infrastructure upgrades.
  • Subcontractor will provide technical integration, leadership, guidance, and direction to other multi-disciplined engineering teams as requested for high profile plant initiatives and will appropriately apply ASME Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) requirements for work in nuclear facilities
  • Plan and direct the engineering activities on projects; establish detailed project design scope, budgets, and schedules
  • Professionally coordinate engineering efforts with Production, Maintenance, Project Management, Construction, Startup, and Project Controls personnel; and review project engineering progress against approved schedules and take corrective action when required.

Qualifications:
• BA/BS Degree from an ABET accredited school in a technical discipline, Master's Degree preferred
• 10+ years of direct experience required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" Clearance (active clearance preferred)
• Must be a United States Citizen
