About the role

Responsible for overseeing all customer locations for assigned strategic account, developing new business while maintaining and growing current business, achieving net sales and profit margin objectives for the assigned strategic contractor accounts.


Responsibilities
  • Coordinate efforts across multiple Leviton sales teams, business units, and assigned Strategic Contractor Accounts.
  • Manage the overall relationship between Leviton and the Customer; at all locations if multiple locations exist.
  • Effectively plan, manage and communicate sales activities utilizing CRM and business technologies.
  • Lead negotiations on a corporate level with assigned accounts when necessary.
  • Work with and instruct other Leviton team members who may have responsibilities for various customer locations.
  • Visit remote customer locations with other team members with enough frequency to develop relationships with key local decision makers in support of strategic goals for assigned National Contractor Account.
  • Drive the total business through team building and coordinated efforts across multiple business units and sales organizations.
  • Coordinate with channel management team to best align strategic objectives and service assigned National Contractor Accounts.
  • Establish annual revenue, product, and program goals with the customer.
  • Hold regular review sessions with the customer to ensure goals and objectives are being met or corrective action is taken where necessary.
  • Promote the Total Capabilities of Leviton to position Leviton as the solution supplier of choice throughout the customers’ organization.
  • Report activities of the assigned National Contractor Accounts on a monthly basis to the Director, Global Strategic Accounts
  • Orchestrate senior management meetings between Leviton and customer for “Big Picture” strategy discussions.
  • To grow the business year over year to meet revenue and profit growth objectives of the organization.
  • Achieve forecasted sales on new products.
  • Manage account sales activity between $20 million and $30 million.

Education & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in field sales, business development in the structured cabling industry required
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Marketing or Engineering preferred
  • Current BICSI RCDD preferred but not required
