Neogen Corporation is seeking a Diagnostic Lab Production Technician II to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our laboratory production processes by preparing chemical solutions, operating lab equipment, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a laboratory setting, handling lab equipment, and performing precise pipetting techniques.
This role follows an onsite model to accommodate business needs while maintaining team collaboration.
Hours:
  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare chemical solutions and reagents according to work instructions.
  • Properly document all manufacturing activities to maintain ISO 9001 standards for quality compliance.
  • Support the quality team by producing small-scale chemical solutions and testing raw materials.
  • Set up, adjust, and operate laboratory equipment, including but not limited to:
    • Spectrophotometer, plate reader, micropipettes, pH meter, balances
    • Microplate and reagent dispensing equipment, bottle cap tightener, labeling equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance on production equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and laboratory instruments.
  • Accurately measure, dispense, and package reagents to meet manufacturing requirements.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (Biology, Chemistry, or related discipline preferred).
  • Basic laboratory experience, preferably in a production or diagnostic lab setting.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and pipetting techniques.
