Job description

Our business is reliant on "CDL" Class A drivers with good driving records and excellent customer service skills when interfacing with NEMA's customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Load and unload trailers at customer locations (paper mills & warehouses) with paper machine clothing product utilizing overhead crane

Utilize crane to load and unload product- Training is included.

Call office at each stop (when arrive and when leave) and work directly with dispatch daily for updates

Have each delivery stop sign paperwork to provide a POD utilizing phone App

Ensure a bill of lading is received for all items picked up at a customer location and that it matches what is loaded onto the trailer

Follow manifest to determine number of stops on a trip

Being timely with deliveries and pick ups.

Maintain and turn in receipts for all fuel stops, tolls, etc. to ensure paperwork audit trail

Complete daily E-logs as per the requirements of the D.O.T. and the FMCSR guidelines. You must drive and log legally.

Check load before departure and complete Pre/Post Trip Inspection details on E-DVIR

Note any damage when picking up at mills, warehouse or any customer facility

Advise office if any damage is noted at the time of delivery

Keep maintenance posted on any issues with truck or trailer.

Lifting/Carrying 50lbs.

Perform other tasks as assigned- accommodations can be made if need be.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • High school diploma preferred
  • CDL License required
  • 2 years of driving experience
  • Must be at least 25 years old
  • Have a valid medical card

These are dedicated runs, and you are home on the weekends!

Pay is dependent on route and location. This will be discussed at time of interview.
