Objective:

Heffernan Insurance Brokers is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join its Small Business division This is a dynamic full-time remote role that will provide a spectrum of innovative strategies to develop and maintain client's insurance needs.ย ย 

Responsibilities Include:ย ย 

  • Account managementย and some marketingย for assigned clients
  • Coordinate all aspects of renewal marketing process with client
  • Prepare account specifications, negotiate pricing and finalize policy conditions.ย 
  • Policies to be checked and transmitted in a timely manner.ย 
  • Help coordinate invoicing and preparing of certificates and evidence of insurance.
  • Prepare account proposals for presentation.ย 
  • Explain and clarify coverage forms to clients.ย 
  • Manage account services, coordinate and direct the activities.ย 
  • Expand existing accounts by developing offering new linesย of coverage.ย 
  • Thorough documentation is required on each account with proper E&O procedures strictly followed.ย ย 

Requirements:ย 

  • Education โ€“ High School graduate required
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in an Account Management or related position.ย ย 
  • Active P&C insurance license is required.ย ย ย 
  • Adaptable, self-starter, with experienced decision making skills.ย 
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, both written and oral.ย 
  • Problem solving, analytical, and marketing skills required.ย ย 
  • Must be organized and able to manage time effectively.ย ย ย

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000. The offer will depend on the geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
