Quality Control (QC) Specialist - Huntley, IL
$20.00 - $23.00/Hourly
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control Specialist to oversee the inspection of manufactured hardware. The QC Inspector will play a vital role in upholding our commitment to integrity customer satisfaction by ensuring all shipments meet internal and customer-specific standards. The ideal candidate brings a proactive mindset, a trained eye for detail, and a strong sense of accountability in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, approve, or reject products based on internal specifications and customer quality standards.
  • Select and evaluate product samples using appropriate methods (visual grading, measurement tools, functional testing, etc.).
  • Document inspection results, record supplier performance, and communicate any quality issues to management and procurement.
  • Collaborate with the receiving, repack, and shipping teams to resolve quality-related discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist in training warehouse staff on quality-related procedures when needed.
  • Respond to customer quality inquiries or rejections, supporting our sales and customer service teams with accurate information.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous experience in quality control or in a similar role in a manufacturing/warehousing industry preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to identify inconsistencies or defects quickly.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
