Introduction: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Inspector Order Checker to join our Edison team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming and outgoing orders meet the specified quality standards before they are processed or shipped. This role is crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction and upholding the reputation of our organization.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Complete the shipping process in Company ERP, using RF technologies to confirm shipment configuration.
  • Inspect outgoing customer orders for accuracy against purchase orders, ensuring that all items shipped match shipment specifications. Including but not limited to, correct shipping labels, verification of correct order numbers, correct carrier assignment.
  • Conduct visual inspections of products to identify any defects or discrepancies before they are processed for shipping.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing any defects found during the inspection process.
  • Communicate identified issues promptly to supervisors and collaborate on corrective actions to resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with production teams to provide feedback on product quality and suggest improvements in processes where necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols during inspections and maintain a clean working environment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; additional education in quality management or related fields preferred.
  • Bi-lingual preferred
  • Previous experience as a quality control inspector or in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills for identifying defects and discrepancies.
  • Good communication skills for documenting findings and reporting issues effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
