Position Overview:
As our NDT Inspector, in accordance with approved procedures, you will perform NDT inspections in one or more of the following methods Visual Inspection (VT), Dye Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and/or Radiography (RT).

On-site in Euclid, Ohio

 

Your Day to Day as a NDT Inspector:

  • Verify weld fit-ups using basic gages.
  • Works in close cooperation with NDT Engineering, Weld Engineering, Welders and Quality Engineering.
  • Assist others in the use of equipment, processes, procedures, and evaluation of welds and material defects.
  • Complete and maintain all documentation as directed by work instructions and policies.
  • Follow instructions per routings, sketches, prints, procedures, manuals, and records as required to perform assigned inspections.
  • Report non-conformances on proper documentation and/or logs.
  • When required, move hardware to other areas with material handling equipment.
  • Perform machine maintenance, housekeeping and other duties as assigned by supervision.
  • Follow and comply with all rules related to operations, safety and security.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of NDT Inspection experience, completion of an accredited training program will be considered.
  • Must meet required vision standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all applicable written and operation examinations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all applicable certifications.
  • Possess skills necessary to maintain accurate documentation of inspection data.
  • Use micrometers and other gages required by work instructions.

 Pay: $$35.57

The starting rate for this position in Ohio (US-OH) is $$35.57 per hour. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, retirement and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment and are subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
