RN(BSN) NURSE -ย  PART TIME - CLINICAL NURSING INSTRUCTORSย

This instructor will teach clinicals/labs -ย Part Time - 2-3 Days a week - M-F - at the Campus and at Clinic locations.ย

Daytime hours and part time, with month to month scheduling. We will provide you with complete training in our curriculum and standards to ensure that you will be fully prepared for your new teaching role. We have experienced mentors to help you get started.

Our smaller class sizes mean you get more 1:1 time with students and make real classroom connections.

You will instruct students in the Ross curriculum, review lesson plans and prepare for class instruction, grade and electronically record assignments, actively promote student retention, support externship activities as applicable, and perform related work as required. Nursing faculty Primary Instructors accurately record grades, successful completion of proficiencies and attendance by entering information in campus management software.

Requirements for an RN Instructor:

  • Completion of an approved registered nursing education program, BSN or higher
  • Experience with precepting preferred
  • Experience withย Pediatric/Obstetrics preferred
  • Two or more years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse providing direct patient care
  • Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in Ohioย Daytime availability
  • Must be able to teach at the campus and off site clinicals
  • Adhere to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics
  • Ability to communicate effectively in classroom and individual settings
  • Knowledge of materials (subjects) that will be taught to students and ability to use and communicate Ross curriculum
  • Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced work environment
  • Sufficient ability to move around the building and classroom to satisfy student needs and/or facilitate student participation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
