Tayani Institute is seeking a dynamic, energetic and knowledgeable full-time Dispensing Optician with Optician experience to work in our growing and thriving Ophthalmology/Optometry practice.

Our practice provides a broad array of ophthalmology, optometry, optical and plastic surgery services. We are a high volume, fast paced practice offering competitive compensation and benefits.

The Optician must be able to commute to any of our locations in Orange County, CA ( Santa Ana, San Clemente, Laguna Hills)


Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Perform duties in the optical department and provide good customer experience
  2. Perform all billing efforts of insurance plans for billable services/products in the vision plans
  3. Learn NextGen Optical Management software and perform routine tasks such as sales, billing and inventory
  4. Manage product inventory and report discrepancies immediately to your manager
  5. Saturday coverage in the Optical Dept. as needed
  6. Assist with marketing plans within the Optical Department
